Shut your nasty disgusting dirty little mouth
Shut your nasty disgusting dirty little mouth
My daughter wants me to write the vice principal of her high school about sexual harassment at school. It seems as if it is part of the school culture. To me it seems off that in this day and age, in the United States, in California, that we’d have to deal with this problem.

A Zombie sneak peak? Oh my!!!
From one of my favorite authors Jade M Phillips – A wonderful Zombie story that will be featured in the upcoming WPaD anthology “Goin’ Extinct. I love this story!
_________
Hello world! It has been WAY too frickin long since I’ve posted and I apologize for my lack of doing so, but it has been a crazy year! I hope everyone is faring well and enjoying their summer. Anyway, I thought while I am busy working on some fun new stuff for you guys to read, I might post a little tid-bit here; a sampler of sorts. Now, this is VIP stuff y’all, I tell you, because the short story I am revealing has not even been published yet! But it will be soon in the very much anticipated post-apocalyptic anthology called ‘Goin’ Extinct’ by the writers of WPaD (Writers, Poets, and Deviants.) Here is our Amazon author page so you can check out all of the other books (proceeds are donated to MS research, a very near and dear cause to me and my family.)So without further ado, I give you a short story by none other than Jade M. Phillips herself (that would be me…clearly), and it is called Zoila’s Zombie. Mind you, this story is so new and so fresh that this version I am posting had not even been fully edited yet, so please be kind with the comma jokes. Ok. Here goes Nothin…
Zoila’s Zombie
by Jade M Phillips
“Hurry Up!” Zoila said, tugging on the chain to urge the zombie along. “The Morgue closes at sundown.” It stared at her blankly with blood shot eyes. The Zombie’s face was decaying and a small section of its skin was hanging from its cheek showing the inside of its mouth and a very bad set of rotting teeth.

Steragos:
An Intro
Posted on July 7, 2014
For anybody new and curious about Legends of Steragos , welcome! Pull up a chair , lemme talk atcha. Allow me to give you the skinny about LOS.LOS is a book series , which is a bit difficult to say since the series currently consists of one book. However , I’m working on the second one currently , aiming for a September release. By the looks of things , it’s shaping up to be a humdinger. There’ll be a snow goddess, a train crash, bandits, dangerous quests, a venture into an otherworldly realm, and one character even uses an intercom!I like intercoms. That’s … that’s why that’s there. I like ‘em.The stories of LoS take place in the enchanted realm of Steragos, during the technological revolution of that world’s 1920s, and center around three heroic princesses – Zariah, the stalwart leader and future queen of the land, Ayomi, a brilliant pilot and inventor from Savgali-Mesada, and Ballista, an eccentric, gunslinging bookworm adventurer. Brought together by similar tragedies, these three women fight with their backs together to keep their realm safe, prosperous and free.

Don’t Panic… they grow up but that’s ok
Summer is in full force, which means the temperature is in the triple digits, the air is full of smoke from fires and everyone is trying to keep their wits about them. Sounds like Hell. It isn’t. It is Northern California and there is a drought so I expect it to be a long smoky summer. This isn’t anything new.
What is new is that my 18 year old Garrett is getting ready for college. I don’t even want to say that. It is both exciting and scary. Exciting for him. Scary for me.We’ve talked a lot, mostly just chatted about college and life outside of here, our house, our community.
Today we were sitting over herbal iced tea and the air conditioner turned up to full blast. Yes, we’re Vampires so you’d think we’d be under the house sleeping, but we don’t stick to traditional schedules. Besides it is summer. We’re just chilling.
I handed him a box.He opened it carefully then started to laugh when he saw what was inside. It was a beach towel with the worlds “Don’t Panic” on it.“
There’s more in there.” I told him.He picked up an object wrapped in white tissue paper.
