SPAM…it isn’t just a weird pork product.
Thank goodness for the wonderful folks at WordPress and their SPAM filters.
I’ve been getting a lot of SPAM lately – and fortunately it is filtered out.
But sometimes wonder WTF those SPAMMERS think when they send out posts in bad/broken English, weird thoughts and sometimes insulting comments. From what I’ve seen, WordPress bloggers aren’t a stupid bunch.
Below is the crop from the past few days:
keep informed and read a lot and you will be always writing awesome articles like this one. just an advice.
Heya i’m for the first time here. I found this board and I in finding It really helpful & it helped me out a lot. I am hoping to provide something back and help others such as you helped me.
i don’t get what you’ve said, but i always appreciate different points of views.
You made some really good points there. I checked on the web for more info about the issue and found most people will go along with your views on this website.
i totally agree with you in this subject, i identify myself with your opinion, that’s good.
I really like your blog.. very nice colors & theme. Did you design this website yourself or did you hire someone to do it for you? Plz respond as I’m looking to design my own blog and would like to know where u got this from. thanks a lot
please when you’re posting, do it carefully not to say the wrong thing.
Write more, thats all I have to say. Literally, it seems as though you relied on the video to make your point. You definitely know what youre talking about, why throw away your intelligence on just posting videos to your weblog when you could be giving us something informative to read?
Greetings , men! Do you enjoy having great pastime in a company willing sweethearts? We want to suggest being with greatest temptresses
I was curious if you ever thought of changing the structure of your blog? Its very well written; I love what youve got to say. But maybe you could a little more in the way of content so people could connect with it better. Youve got an awful lot of text for only having 1 or two pictures. Maybe you could space it out better?
__________________________ end of SPAM
The little nasty Internet robots have been working overtime if they found a blog written by me. But then again, I bet all bloggers get this.
I own my own URL for my personal email and it took over 10 years for the SPAMMERS to find me. I wonder if that’s a record.
The problem with this stuff is that unfortunately there are people who take it in. I’ve had to tell the elders in my life NOT to open email they don’t recognize. I’ve had to tell the elders and my kids not to answer phone calls from people they don’t know. I’ve told them all about internet stalkers. We know the difference but unfortunately not everyone else does.
The reblogged link is to a work of fiction – but it rings true for all of us who are looking after elders and care takers. Especially during this Holiday season and after, remember those who are older and perhaps alone. Help them, do things with them, engage their minds, hearts and souls. They are our treasures.

Why I want to be stupid famous
It was a dark stormy night…and morning. Despite the new roof I discovered my blogging days are numbered. The window in my “office”, which is right in front of my computer is leaking. Leaking is a nice word – it is gushing and flooding my desk.
My hats off to the nice folks at Dell for making a mouse that can swim. I mopped things up and I’m trying to get a few things done before I move my computer to dryer ground (downstairs) and of course before I get some sort of electrical shock.
My mouse is now sitting on a copy of “Good Night Moon”. I didn’t even realize I had that but it was the first book I grabbed on the shelf next to the built in desk which is under the leaking window.
Where I live storms are big news. Light rain is big news. Streets flood, trees fall, some unfortunate reporter gets sent up to the mountains to stand freezing at Blue Canyon.
And like any writing/blogging idiot I’m blogging/writing. It makes me think of Clark – you know, the creature the kids find in the park in “One Fish, Two Fish, Red Fish, Blue Fish”. Clark is an exotic looking creature the children find in a giant jar of water and of course they bring him home.
So I’ll ring out towels and start moving my stuff (and more than likely steal a laptop away from my 13 year old).
In the meantime we have skate practice (artistic roller) and other things to do which will require me to go OUTSIDE.
Wishing you all a safe, comfortable and dry Sunday.
